Brotherhood Board for 2022-2023
Temple Emanu-El’s Brotherhood is an active and integral part of our congregation that offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year. These range from Sunday breakfast events to music performances to bus trips to lectures, with topics including religion, sports, photography, and social issues. Our programs are open to all temple members.
But what our Brotherhood does best is serve the temple through activities including:
- Ushering for High Holy Day services
- Building the Temple sukkah
- Providing and serving pizza at the Temple’s annual Mitzvah Day
- Providing and serving hot dogs at the annual Purim Carnival
- Offering one major fundraising event annually
- Giving gifts to B’nai Mitvah and Confirmands
- Helping with facilities projects
- Funding a major improvement effort each year.
Men of all ages are invited to become a part of this fun and community-minded group. The first year of Brotherhood membership is free to new male temple members ages 18 and older.
