Covid Information

Covid-19 has dramatically changed our world, greatly impacting our day to day lives. In March 2020, we quickly moved to virtual platforms for Shabbat services, religious school and all temple events. We are most grateful for our strong team of clergy, staff and members who made all of this possible. While meeting virtually is not always ideal, it has been a huge blessing and also provided new opportunities for us. For now, we will continue to meet virtually.

We follow the teachings of Torah as we partner with you during these times. Pikuah Nefesh- Safeguarding Life- is our guiding principle as we explore these unchartered waters together.

Currently, we are making small steps to begin meeting again in person in outdoor venues. Some outdoor events have already happened. Planning is underway to expand these offerings while maintaining the health and safety of all.

The Board of Trustees established the Covid Response Team (CRT) to establish guidelines and processes to address Covid-19 related needs for temple operations. The CRT consists of the Senior Rabbi, Associate Rabbi, President, Executive Director, Chair of House & Grounds, a Medical Representative, a Legal Representative and a Public Health Representative.

The CRT is consistently assessing the situation and planning to ensure the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff. With the dynamics surrounding Covid-19, new information frequently becomes available resulting in changes.

We deeply appreciate your patience and commitment to working together during these challenging times and cannot wait until we can all be safely together again! We miss being together.
