Since 1979, the nationally-accredited Susan Schwaid Early Learning Center at Temple Emanu-El has been committed to providing a safe, caring environment where the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of young children are met.
Open to children ages 15 months to 5 years old from Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, our ELC and voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) program includes a broad range of instruction and enrichment activities for young learners. These include reading and literacy, art, Hebrew, music and movement, and much more. We also offer Jewish enrichment.
Our center is named after the beloved Susan Schwaid. Susan dedicated her life to helping children thrive in life, and we are honored for our center to recognize her caring efforts.
Our Early Learning Center is nationally accredited and recognized as an early care and education program that exemplifies excellence in the care of young children. The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs is sponsored by the Association for Early Learning Leaders.
A Commitment to Education, A Love of Children.
