Adult Education
Sara Weinberg, Chair
The Adult Education Committee is committed to enriching the lives of our temple community through Jewish-themed educational, social, and cultural programs for adults of any age. We offer diverse personal growth opportunities through classes, movies and presentations by local and national educators and speakers who can teach, inform, and expand our minds and enlighten our spirits.
We offer:
- Monthly Programs - with speakers (scholars, professors, doctors, mind/body educators, writers etc.) who share relevant and interesting topics.
- Classes with our Rabbis - Rabbi Brenner Glickman, Rabbi Michael Shefrin and Rabbi Elaine Rose Glickman share their knowledge, insight, and delightful sense of humor on a wide range of Jewish learning.
- Hebrew Classes - Classes include Conversational Hebrew I and II. These classes are designed for those with little or no background in Hebrew and who wish to learn how to read and speak. Click here to see Conversational Hebrew Flyer.
- Film Series - Sunday at the Movies at Benderson Family Hall has returned with an excellent selection of movies and a follow-up discussion of the film.
Please join us for our energizing and stimulating programs! For more details on any program, please check the calendar, the Temple Times, flyers, and the Tuesday email blast.
