  • Haaretz (www.haaretz.com) – Israel’s oldest newspaper. It is the most complete and trustworthy source of immediate news from Israel.
  • Hebcal Jewish Calendar (www.hebcal.com) - The best Hebrew calendar resource. The Hebrew Date Converter helps you find the Hebrew date equivalent of any Gregorian date. It will also give you the Torah portion that week and candle lighting times. This site can tell you when Rosh Hashanah will fall in the year 2092.

The Jewish News

The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee publishes The Jewish News - Sarasota-Manatee's only Jewish newspaper - each month. In addition to its 10,000 subscribers, the newspaper can be found in more than a dozen of the temples and synagogues in Sarasota, as well as the Jewish Federation's partner agencies, the lobbies of the public libraries, and news racks located throughout Sarasota and surrounding areas.
