Shabbat Services
Shabbat is sacred and joyful at Temple Emanu-El, and our chance to welcome new friends to our Temple family. Please come and join us!
Each Friday evening, Rabbi Brenner Glickman and Rabbi Michael Shefrin lead a spiritual service with an intellectually stimulating sermon surrounded by joyous music from our choir. We sing most of the prayers together, but there is always a piece or two that the choir sings with a beauty that transports us.
Our Friday evening service begins at 7:15 p.m. during the months of September through May.
During the summer months, our Friday evening service is held at 6:00 p.m., preceded by a friendly kiddush and reception at 5:30 p.m. Our summer worship services are shorter and followed by dinner together in the social hall or at a local restaurant, for those who choose.
All Shabbat services are open to the public. Come and let us welcome you!
